Hello All,

I have been considering a V-Rod for some time and have finally made up my mind to start my search for a nice late model bike.

I live in Cameron Park, California, about 30 miles east of Sacramento which is a great place to own and ride motorcycles! Plenty of back roads and small towns to stop in, have a bite to eat and just enjoy the scenery!

I hope to find a bike soon and meet other V-Rod owners in my area!

Thanks!

Forgot to ask, about how long after doing the Newbie intro until I can post in the Classifieds? I want to post a wanted ad to help with my V-Rod search. I did send a note to the admin but understandably they can't respond immediately.

Thanks!

Thought there was a time limit but just checked the "Classified Rules" sticky at the top of the Trading Post section and there isn't. Don't think anyone would object to a "Wanted Ad" anyway. Post away!

I can't, my account does not have the necessary privileges? I thought after I posted an intro to the Newbie section I would be granted access to post to the classifieds?

thanks!

Hmmm, I thought that restriction would go away with "Registered (Ab)User" status. :D

Gonna have to give Admin time to do their thing, I guess.

Can you not access the Classified- Bikes section?

(Did I go thru Cameron Park on the way to Colfax to get my free KTM in March?)

I can read the classifieds but not post.

Colfax is just off Route 80, Cameron Park is Route 50. If you were traveling highway 49 you would have passed near Cameron Park but not through it.

Right, right - after doing ~1600 miles non-stop, to Bakersfield, IIRC, then the other 300 to Colfax, I was pretty well fried. Then it was down to Long Beach to check out another bike that I wound up bringing home, too. Long trip for an old phart, over 4Kmiles!

Good luck finding the bike that'll make your heart beat faster.:D
