i actually lifted the f today with it. the feet reach to catch the lower frame. I really need a plate or something square like the lift you got there to feel safe tho"...in the garage", GARAGE? Bro that's a $3,000 lift there... and I complained about having to buy this!

I was wondering what the measured distance of the rubber lifting pad is from end to end on your craftsman moto lift. I have another similar lift that just grabs the end of the frame but am returning it because I don't trust it because it's not big enough. Any possible jarring may knock the bike off. I DON"T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN! Also, does the long jacking arm come off so it is not in the way?Likewise and I got mine on sale too... Oh well and yes poverty bites!
.
:them:I'd say it has an inch or so off both sides of the frame. Honestly the Vrod is such a heavy bike there is no way it's going to accidentally come off the lift, I push my bike around lifted all the time. Michael Strahan would have to tackle that joker.
EDIT: and yes, the arm comes off by pulling a safety pin at the bottom, piece of cake.
