Can anyone tell me about some pipes that go on a VROD, that sounds out of this world? We were coming out of the H-D dealer-ship in Rapid City, SD and getting on it going on the on ramp to the Highway. And these two bikes came around us going alittle faster than we were, and the sound was deafaning, it was the LOUDEST bike I have ever heard. It fact, it was so loud my olady told me later that she couldn`t stand it, and I thought it was pretty loud too. Anyway, I am going to sell my bike and buy a VROD and I want those pipes!

... they were Rineharts... trust me on this one... I'm seriously thinking of swapping out of mine for a 2into1 set-up that will no doubt be less noisy at speed! The ear-piercing sound that screams outta the Rineharts at speed is just about unbearable!?!?!

there is no such thing as too loud...unless your the one riding behind it...lol

Sampsons are loud and sound great, a friend of mine has them on his rod. I opted for Rineharts and love the sound from screamin down the highway to the low rumble sitting at the light. They have a really sleek look down the lines of the bike as well. Do a search on Rinharts to see other comments. Good luck,

I run BUB 2into2 Cone System ( without baffles ) and they are really loud. When I pack up with my buddies, they make me ride the fog line. :mrgr:

I have a set of Force shorty look alikes. They are just chrome tips really. Cost me $50.00 from my Dealer. They are Hell loud and i get in trouble often with these pipes. There is no loss of HP and i'm probably getting a little more top end out of them. Best thing about these pipes is there length. Not in the way of feet for the passenger. Value for money.
You will need to get a map done for these pipes though. The PC3 map for the Force shorty's is a good starting point.

I don't know guys....I have the CFR's on mine and I was standing about 20' away from the bike on a stone patio and you not only could hardly talk above them but you could feel the vibration of the bike through your heels....at idle. A very deep rumble.
