PCIIIr, stock v-mods, K&N filter, top ON custom map

This is a custom map done by my local dealership (go, Corey). I was running the m809-020 map, which was made for my setup but with the bike running topless. The m809-020 map was too rich for my bike with the top on. This one is SIGNIFICANTLY leaner.

I don't have the print-out or any solid data about performance from the dyno runs that were done before and after these adjustments were made. But I'm getting better gas mileage, don't belch black smoke from the exhaust when I hit it hard, and the bike smells better and runs better with this map.

I'm at about 800' above sea level here.

Download and use this "at your own risk," of course. No warranty expressed or implied and all those other legal disclaimer words Karl wrote up for us!

New Map and Dyno sheets from Oz

Here's two maps from a mate down South. 113.1 HP
Unfortunatly, one run had an obstruction limiting air intake. Note, the air box lid was on and unmodified.
He thinks that the map named LATEST is the one to use.
He has fitted SE 16G exhaust, Power Commander IIIr, SE Air Filter and SE Flash.
I'm going to load it onto my bike today (as opposed to my 027 map) and see how it runs.
He reports a good strong bike with minimal negative effect on cruising fuel range from stock.
Dyno results are available, when I work out how to resize them as they were too big to upload to this server.

Best wishes.

Ken.

Here's the printout for the latest MAP.
Sorry about the poor scan.
Please let me know if the map is of any help to those who down load it!

Best wishes everyone.

And here's what I take to be the original and obstructed run. (Numbers at 4k etc aren't as high)
I'm sorry, but I'm a bit confused as I wasn't there and the info is all second hand.
Anyway, hope this helps someone.

Best wishes.

Ken.

Updated V-Mod, K&H with Top On

I modified Val's original map and it seems to be working for her. It cleaned up the flat spots she was having in the midrange and preserved her fuel economy.

YMMV, Use at your own risk :deal:

Mark - I decided to do a little extrapolations myself. Why should you get to have all the fun. :rofl2: The Power Commander supplied map for this setup (M809-020.map) was just way to rich. I took the map you did for Val (vmod-kn-top-mjw.map) and compared it to the 020 map. My new map is considerably leaner then the 020 map but not as lean as the one you did for Val with the top still on. I am very happy with the new custom map and it seems to run strong through out the RPM/Throtle Position range. I am posting this map for those with the following setup:

Stock Pipes V-Modded.
K/N or Screamin Eagle Air Filter.
Black Plastic Air Box cover removed.
Stock ECM (no dealer flashes)
28tooth Front Pulley (not sure this matters)

If you are using the M809-020 map give this map a try and see what you think.

I reloaded the map file from a copy I made using the USB software. A couple people said the file was corrupted and I confirmed that before I edited it. - Mark

Custom PC3 USB Map for Rineharts

Here it is kids!..... The long awaited custom map for your Rinehart Piped V-Rod!

I haven't looked at it too much, but it is way different than the website's map!

I love the throttle response, and even though every bike is a little different, I would bet dollars to donuts that this map is a good match for those with the same set-up as me! Good Luck, and Happy Tunnin'

My set up: Rinehart Racing Pipes (2 into 2 Staggered w/the small baffles), K & N Air Filter (oily type), Stage 1 Re-Flash of the ECM, TopLess (air cleaner cover removed)

Yeah... I'm real sweet with this attachment stuff.... I have e-mailed the map to Max for attachment, and I can e-mail it to anyone who wants it in the meantime, just e-mail me with the request...

Or, just look above a couple posts, I zipped it...it should work?

Even Better Now!

I tweeked the existing (m809-002) map, and got it running a lot stronger in the mid and high rpm range now. Wow, I wish I could have another run on that dyno. I hope this attached map come through ok. I'll also post it on the other thread that is for PCIII maps. redrazor

PC3usb map file, Supertrapps, open end cap, K&N, drilled airbox

This is a map I use at sea level, took the power commander 003 map and fine tuned it. No dyno check or exhaust check, but the spark plugs are not showing any detonation and it cleaned up the black soot on the exhaust. Runs real strong at WOT and real smooth when just cruising, gas mileage runs about 40 mpg. Use at your own risk and keep an eye on your plugs when you first try it to make sure it is not to lean for your bike. :thumb:

Greg M809-004 is for the SE slipons with a stock ECM.

I have not been able to locate a map for either the V-Modded 16ga or the V-modded SE slipons. Try the 004 map and make some slight adjustments as I mentioned above.

Greg, I've modified the 004 map by adding 2% enrichment to the 3500 to 6000 RPM range across all throttle positions. I also added 1% enrichment to the 6000 to 9000 RPM range but only in the 80 and 100% throttle positions. This should work as a safe starting point for your dyno run. Hope this helps.

SE 16GA Pipes-Topless-PCIII-Stage 1 ECM Flash

Attached is the map I'm using for 108.09 HP and 74.46 ft-lbs. My dyno sheet is posted on the Hi-Performance discussion page. The base map I started with was the M809-016. Earlier dyno runs showed the A/F mixture was really lean from 4500 to 7500 rpm. This map fixed those lean conditions.
