Well its an Obvious, Simplistic Retelling of Hamlet with the Incest of the brother replaced with the General Killing the other and taking the Wife/ Mother and instead of the Ghost visiting him and telling him the Fathers "Notes" come to surface in their place. We are getting the Idea that The Father was More along the Lines of Jax who was trying to take the Club in a Different, a Free Spirit, not so Obvious way, Hence what lead to His Demise. Hence Jax is Unsettled in His life, Not The Little solider they tried to make him as He has The blood of His Father in him. I think the "Sneakers Instead Of Boots" is just a simple way to Separate the Proper Heir from the rest of the troops, the True General as if the Fathers Ideas are being Passed on through him, Etc....
