Ok here is my story.
I bought this 08 Dx from woodstock harley davidson in kingston NY in april, from the get go i noticed a clunk in the front end and an oil leak by the front left valve cover.
I brought it in @ 1400 miles for 1000k service and was told the clunk is the floating brakes and that my tire pressure was low but i told them it was the front end and not the brakes. Alot of my information on this bike came from this forum and all you guys, which has been on the money.
Well anyway clunk was still there and the oil leak was supposably fixed but it still leaked@ return #2 plus they stripped the valve cover bolts@2000k.
now i had kept my mouth shut due to the fact that i would give them the benefit of the dought but the clunk became a dangerous issue, even though i was compensating the wobble and clunk and the oil leak was still there and NOW i was told my rear tire wobbles after they replaced the tire and the rear disc is warped but under harley spec its not replaced. this is now 6600k. So i bring it in and give them all the info and i am told they need to order parts.
Today i pick up the bike and and was CHARGED for the steering head out of adjustment and the wobble in the rear is normal WTF !!!!! I argue with the mechanic and told him it was something that was always there and he sayed i should have had the 5000K service done and since the rotor is under spec it was not replaced and the steering would have been covered under service and no warranty is on it. I talked with the service manager and since I was accusing her "perfect" staff of being shoemakers she would not talk to me.WTF. His certification should be revoked, if he has one.
Either way my rear tire was not seated on correctly and that is the wobble and i will call BBB on monday and file a complaint aginst WOODSTOCK HARLEY DAVIDSON and i will be calling the main office of MoCo too to complain and i will be bringing my DX to a different dealership next week to fix the remaining issues. BEWARE they DO have a good sales staff but there service department is a 0 out of 10. I am not the only one with issues with them but i will speak out and hopefully get some satisfaction. DAMN YOU:chair:

Man that's horrible! I bought my bike from Cajun Harley Davidson is Scott Louisiana, I have to say they have the absolute best service and sales people I have ever dealt with. They are awesome!

The only way to get Harley's attention is to send a certified letter to the CEO, Zimerman, you will get a response but you have to do it in writing. I know, I had to do it, 90 day battle, one letter= 1 week, wish I did it sooner....good luck

I actually bought my last bike from woodstock harley, had no problems...but for anyone in florida

BEWARE OF NAPLES HARLEY DAVIDSON as well, i bought my bike and had it shipped up...recieved with scratches, and dirty as hell. 2 months later, still waiting for the owners manual, and some paperwork. I called harleys main customer service number, and they DID NOTHING to help my situation. Maybe I should contact better business bureau?

And whats the address to send the the letter to? Im gonna get right on that.

Well i gotta say that WHD sales was nice , even though they dont have to do much since we know what we want before we walk in the door. It's just there arrogant service staff that looks down @ you the customer and thinks they know everything but really, they need to replace the whole service staff and get competent mechanics. I will be writing a letter to several sources and have someone wake up.:deal:

Check the sag ot the front could be collapsed springs. I know it is new but sometimes they collapse quickly.

Whats HR ? Do you have the address ?

I sent my letter here in 04/2008 and got a response right away.
