Sent an email to this shop in Mn asking him what he got for a dyno tune and if they have had any expeirence with the revo motor. He just called me and asked what a street rod was, I told him a V-Rod.... he then replied that they havent done any work with them and that when i was ready to step up to a real twin let him know. I said you mean something thats shakes the mirrors off, handles like sh***t and wont stop... he then says well just because lexus makes the best car he wont own one, i laughed and then told him good luck in his ventures.

I am actually having a tough time in my neck of the woods finding someone that will perform a Dyno test on my A. Apparently it poses too much complication for them? Think I am severely limited by whats available in my area anyway but I must say that I am dissapointed. If I was looking to dyno my 2001 Road king I would have no problem. However I have not the stupidity in me to soup up that couch on wheels, unlike some I have seen in the dyno booth...

With a TAB fueler you can take it anywhere. Doesn't need to be an HD dealership. Hell the Jap dealerships would probably do it.

I'm in Lewiston, Maine and we have a great Dyno tuner in this neck of the woods. Let me know if I can help you out.

It never ceases to amaze me the answers you can hear from mechanics instead of "I don't know" or "Soryy I can't help you out" just an answer of truth would be cool....:D

 ...that is funny!

You should post his email info so we can all inquire about his dyno tunes, then he could see what kind of business he missed out on, and how damaging moronic statements like that could end up being.
That is actually a good idea.........flood his email box with dyno inquiries for VRods!

Quite the businessman.

This is exactly why no harley dealer will work on my bike. When I first bought the bike they unfortunately had to put a new battery in the bike. It took them like an hour. Then a few weeks later I found the terminal were loose.

Another time at the dealer I just asked if they ever installed a turbo the guy looked at me like I was crazy and said no.

Hilarious! I can't wait to see what happens to all these dumb-buunies when the airheads can't meet noise and emission regs.

He sounds like a guy who buys a box of CrackerJacks for the prize inside.

Call Jason Kellis at Faribault Harley. He did mine in June and has done numerous v-rods. As a matter of fact, they had 2 destroyers sitting in the back of the shop. Did a great job and NO ONE made any stupid v-rod comments. Full tune was like $263.00. Jason will get you dialed in.

Toyota=over priced pos Lexus=over priced toyota JMO
I don't get the other part, comparing apples to oranges?
I had to go 75 miles to find a dealer that would tune a Vrod, local dealer won't bother unless you buy a SERT, from them. Oh well, they lost my business.
