I hate the mushroom look that most 1/2 helmets give off. I like the look of the carbon fiber helmets. Just curious to see if anyone has one and what they think. Thanks.

:them: I've had mine for several years now and I love it. Much safer than a plain novelty lid, and still very lite and comfortable, especially on long rides.

local kid who is a mechanic at the HD dealer was on his way back from the ride to the wall last sunday. They stopped at a HD dealer about 30 miles away from here to chat. When they got back on I81 somehow going around the entrance ramp he hung a floor board and wrecked.
He had a novelty on. Broke every bone in his face and he is bleeding from the brain. Early reports were he would not live. Later reports this week said he is "improving"
I dont ride period even at bike weeks without my full face. This is why.

i do agree that safety is a big improvement with a fullface...
but I wonder what that kid was doing WRONG to make him catch a floorboard? If I were riding with a full face, i may ride a tad more extreme maybe take an extra chance or two... but when I have on a novelty I am 150% on my game and I do not make stupid mistakes because I know what I am wearing.
