So, what do ya think? Picked this up for wife's surprise Christmas present today! Ssshhhhhh, don't tell her! :sinister: I'm already excited... :hyper: hid it in the shed for now, will come up with a way to sneak it in beside the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve (he he he :angeldev: ).
Got a great deal on it, a 2002 w/2300 miles, has the '04 black skins.

Way to go making the rest of us husbands look like cheapskates..
JK, way to go, nice gift. :plause:
Why doesn't anyone buy me something like that?
I grought my wife a Ducati last summer, but she has only ridden it once.

Gah makein the rest of us look bad. If that doesent garentee some nookie that night i dont know what would!

I 'd get my wife the Rod if she dident allready have problems even standing mine up... well thats the excuse i'm useing. Might get her an 889 next year thoug heh

if she does give you any nookie for that i will for the bike hahaha

vrod-tlam - What you have not said yet is if she wanted a bike or not? I bought my wife a bow (archery) for one of her birthdays. I wanted her to have one, turns out she didn't think that was a very good idea. :whack:

Now that's a gift!!!

You know what they say:

It's the thought that counts and damn, that's some serious thought my friend!!!

If you can catch her reaction in a picture or vid to post that would be great as I'm sure her reaction is going to be priceless!!!

Thanks for the offers guys, but if you aren't female, you need not apply!

Yes, I'll try to set up a camera or video recorder to get her reaction
and yes she wants a bike, but she thinks not till next year. She already has her license from about 10 yrs ago.
One of the nice things is that it already had the reduced reach bars & reduced reach foot extensions. All I need to do is lower it another inch and it will be perfect for her!

How are you going to keep that a secret for 2 months?

I bought my wife a set of tires once. Once. I have had "re-education" since then. :whack:
That's what I was wondering? I don't know about the rest of you guys, I can't even look at the men's lounge at home without getting caught!!

:thumb: the gift that keeps on giving... she's gonna love it!!!

What a guy and very thoughtful too!! Has she had the VA safe rider program too? If not you might want to throw that in.
She had the safety class about 10 years ago, I'm sure she will take it again this spring, she was talking about it this past summer!

As far as keeping it a secret, I think I can keep my sh!t together for a couple of months. I'v got it locked up in a storage building she never goes in & I have all the paperwork being sent to me at work (he he he).
She just had a birthday, and I actually got away with just taking her out to a nice resteraunt, told her that her b'day present is with her C'mas present  & she was OK with that :thumb:
