I think most of the difference goes to import tariff to Oz government...

I know in Jakarta Indonesia a new DX cost about USD50K OTD. the "luxury vehicles" tariff itself is about 50% off that tag price.

Bit of both Watto. l only got $6500 for my 05 Roadster 4 1/2 years old that l paid $18k for and paid $29k for the Muscle.

saw the first DX 2012 in PS adelaide last week and they 26k on road ...... scared to ask what change over on my 10 F would be ...... the insurance co. tried to put my value down so i switched to shannons agreed value and the premiums went down by $300 pa . TRUE STORY !!!

 

Shannons is all I use , my lad knocked over my brand new hayabusa a couple of years ago and they were excellent to deal with !

 

I'm due for insurance and Shannons is $75 cheaper than QBE and have a higher price on the bike to boot.

Looks like I'll go with Shannons myself.

Yes....good people on here I had a good look at the new DX and a sit on it. I don't mind the tailpiece , but something would have to be done about that dogs breakfast number plate mount. I just might get my tail tidy in order and get it fitted too...or rather get someone mechanically competent to fit it for me No I am not going to buy a new DX, I do like my "Muscle"
