VRSC's win motorcycle shows - So Tell Us About It!

Tell us when your ride wins a show. It is happening more and more these days and traditional Harley riders are doing the judging.
Please limit posts to those reporting on wins. Thank you

I'll start.
For my old 2003 VRSCA

Whose next?

I took first place in the Vrod class at the annual OC HD bike show in 2006. I didn't get to enter in 2007, but hopefully I can this year.

I also won for Judges Choice in a local show last year that didn't have a Vrod class, but I don't have any pics.

It's been 3 or 4 years but I took second place trophy at the 3rd annual Mini Sturgis Rally in Ocala with my 03 and the night before that I was interveiwed on Channel 20 out of Gainesville at the start of the Rally,I got to talk about our V-Rods.

FWIW,I have a few 1st place and heat trophys racing Hondas on clay.

Just won 2nd place at the 2008 Hot Rods and Harleys located in Rahway, NJ. There were only a few VRods entered (i think 3) but either way i was happy to have a trophy. A little disappointed that the V that won was not all that impressive, but what can you do. Hope to see more V's in here soon! Pics and more info here: https://www.1130cc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99959

Speaking of winning. VRODRJS has been very kind to escort me to the local IL bike shows.
Of course, I have no chance in HELL, that I am ever gonna beat him.
We usually are parked right next to each other at the shows. Since I recently put a set of JE Illusions tins on, I have been getting alot of gawkers and curious question askers. Still not near what Bob gets.
Anyways, he took 1st in Class a few weeks ago at the AHDRA's in Granite City, IL, and I took 3rd. 3rd is not bad for my first bike show, IMHO.
Today, Bob did not even place in the "Stock Category". We were up against Fat Boys and SOftails.... I took 2nd in class and lost to Brad, he is Airhead here on the Forum. Sweet as hell Springer he has.
SO, they announce that the judges made a rule that Best of SHow could be a bike that did not win the class.
I looked at Bob, and said, well there ya go.
Sure as shit, Bob won, again. FYI, this was the Kelley's Bike SHow in Quincy IL sponsored by Great River ABATE and Kelley's Tavern.
So congrats to VRODRJS on yet another Trophy.
I am humbled by all of this, as sooner or later, I might just beat Bob,....maybe.

I had the honor of parking next to Bob at the V-Rod show in KC in 2006 - I don't think anyone noticed my V, except to stand in it to look at his

Here is a picture from a dealer show I won back in NJ in 05, when it was still relatively stock...

I am working on getting riders in Israel to have a bike show. The dealers here are not much help in organization so I trying to get the riders to do something. I am only a visitor here and the riders have to do something for themselvees if they really want to have a motorcycle cultutre.
Any suggestions?

I entered the show on post. The announcer said the winner is the VROD. Well the name they called was not mine. I had the only VROD and best looking bike there.

This is the one I posted last December about being best in TWO classes:

We won! OK, it was a small bike show at a Toys For Tots gathering. The promoters ask me several times to enter m daily rider D in the show. I finally relented. To get the bike to the display area, I had to ride down almost the length of the block and come back up on the grass. A cop told me where the little ramp was and to "wind 'er up". No problem, I blasted down the street and came back sideways in the grass. I didn't think anyone was really paying attention.
Just before the awards were starting, the head judge came to me and said "You won in two classes. Best cruiser and best Sport Bike. We can redo the Sport Bike and change it to V-rod if you want." I told him not to worry about it. I would accept Sport Bike and decline Cruiser to give somebody else a chance. Judging was based on public votes, judged points and donation "votes" from the general public.
Turns out a lot of people saw me blast down the block and return dirt-track style. The public votes were almost an even split between Sport and Cruiser. Even a couple of judges put me down in Sport. The big sissy bar got me Cruiser points. My KBC Airborne Edition One helmet got me Sport Bike points.
I graciously accepted the sport bike plaque.
The guy I spent most of the day talking to ended up with Cruiser on nicely done naked Road King.
It was a fun day donating to the cause. As for "money votes", the D drew $53. Only $3 was mine. Best of Show drew $107, a buck of that was also mine.
