105,000 on moto guzzis

Damn I just received my 100.000miles pin from moto guzzi national owners club. They don't give credit for age, just miles driven. For you young V-ROD drivers motoguzzi is the air head with the cylinders out in the wind, made in Italy only 1,000 a year come to the new world so they are seldom seen. I was happy with MGs until I rode the V-ROD. Its a shame I get more reaction from onlookers at the harley dealer when I pull up with my 04 RED STONE. Like both bikes, the VROD gets my blood flowing faster and the Moto goose is relaxing and almost puts me to sleep its so boring after the Rocket performance of the VROD..... 28 more points for me I guess my daily rides have to be longer. STAY SAFE......

I knew you belonged in here Al!

And Nathang, I did the age thing because when you get to be an old fart like me you'll discover that lots of things get a bit more difficult with age. Since one can only participate in this quest for 6 years (so far), I figured age had to count for something. You can, of course, create your own category (but you'll have to maintain it yourself) .

I still need suggestions for the patch design....

And rbnky, you da man. (I think; you are 100 years old?? )

I believe I'd be a bit reluctant to feel that I was due an equal rank, on a motorcycle riders forum, if at 57 I had ridden 43,000 mile to have a total 100,000 points, as compared to a 20 yr old who had ridden 80,000 miles to have the same point total.
When you reach age 57 you'll understand

Old basturds...

68 here + 10-14000 miles a year for the last 50 years. I had some years where I clocked over 25000 but my estimate is on the conservative side even when I consider the two years spent in Asia. You can do the math.
