Topless

Is there a noticeable advantage of running topless??
If so, what is the process and do’s/don’ts
I have a 2013 Muscle V&H 2-1 Comp exhaust and PowerVision programmer.

Thanks!!

1-2 hp tops. Plus, you'll get a lot more sound from the air getting sucked into the engine. Make sure you adjust your programmer for the increased amount of oxygen, especially if you're adding a K&N filter.

I also removed the plastic pieces that cover the faux air screens in the front of the airbox on my VRSCF.

Mostly increased induction sound. Tune wise, the relocation of the IAT has more effect then any small amount of air it will get. 1-2 hp proves it's next to none difference. Same applies to a filter element change with no other mods like cams done to the engine. Generally relocation of the IAT places it in a different temp zone. Cooler the tune will be richer and visa versa.
