Hey Wind Walker, my name is Scott and I'm new here on this forum, and I'm trying to learn about potential upgrades for a stock '06 VRSCA I bought a couple weeks ago. I've been looking at the Danmoto 2-1 as it seems like a great deal and one of just a few options out there for '06 VRSCAs.
Anyway, I've been trying to understand how the various fuel/air manager systems required for aftermarket exhausts work, and it seems like the Cobra Power Pro Black is possibly one of the easiest to set up for a newby like myself. As I understand it, the installation involves connecting the unit to the fuel injectors, which are then monitored and adjusted for optimum performance without the need for finding and loading specific fuel control algorithms, is that correct? In other words the most difficult part is simply installing the hardware on the bike, has that been your experience with this unit?
Thanks for any help you can provide here, I'm looking forward to making my bike sound more like a Harley should sound sometime soon.
