I am wondering how many members were offered the "100th Anniversary Lifetime Maintenance and Protection Plan or any lifetime maintenance program whenever they purchased their bikes. Is it something that is dealer based or could it be purchased anywhere??? I was not and it sucks the more and more I hear about our members talking about it
My program was exclusive, non-transferrable, through HD N Dallas., but I have heard of others. Of course now I am tied to them (and Dunlop tires) "forever". Or until I am $$ even (which is now). But they have been good so far (to me at least, Max hasn't had as good an experience with them).
i was not offered any type of extended warranty, so i wrote about it on the the little slip you get in the mail and send to corporate, i immediately got a call from the dealer saying it was offered to me and they have my signature where i declined it....
It must have been in the mountain of papers they kept shoving at me to sign. where they say " i need you to sign at the X..here....and here....and here....and here...and here...then turn over and here.....then right here.....here.....here....here..and here."
