Replacing Motor Mounts

Bike is a 2007 VRSCX 1250CC engine (Stock) with a 240 rear tire (Stock) and 185,000 miles on it.
Been a long while since I have replaced the motor mounts on my 2007 VRSCX (1250CC), probably at least 50K-75K miles maybe more since.
The last time I did It was when I needed to strip the frame for Powder coating.
Two questions.
1. Can the rear mounts be replaced without removing the engine?
2. While doing this what should I look at and replace while I am in there. Things like bearings, shims, gaskets and whatever that might be worn?
Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated.

Everything is JMHO. Accuracy is not assured.

You could change them to the Polyurethane Mount Kit from Vreeland's. A little bit expensive but I don't think you'll ever have to change them again.
'02 VRSCA a.k.a. "No Wife", '05 VRSCSE a.k.a. "No Kids", '07 VRSCX a.k.a. "No Girlfriend" , '09 VRSCAW a.k.a "September Project (The Turbo One)"
'03 VRSCA (now next project), '05 VRSCA (also for parts), '14 VRSCDX (I'm NOT hoarding parts)

You know they are just like potato chips, you can't have just one.

Possibly. You might also need to tolerate more vibes forever. I've had no real luck with Poly mounts in aircraft. Low durometer it sags from heat and high durometer won't isolate vibes as well. Rubber always seemed to work out the best for me. I suspect to last, these poly mounts are quite hard in durometer and offer less cushion. Just the way I see it and I could be wrong also.
