Question about screamin eagle stage 2 cams

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting. I'm sure this has been asked before but just wanting information for myself. I have a vrod muscle and interested in the SE stage 2 cams. I am wanting to know how it sounds after installing them.. do you get more of a rumble at idle and do you notice a big difference? I'm hoping for more of a rumble at idle and I have the vance and Hines 2 into 1 competition series exhaust.. so any additional about these cams would be great.. thanks to anyone who can give me some information

choosing the right pipe and tuner is important for best results when installing cams.if you dont ,then you will be disapointed with the way it runs on the street.problems with exhaust poping and cruise stumbles are common when you dont .the cams are known to be noisier at idle.a mild port and polish achieve as good results as cams do i have found.

I pulled the engine myself, took it to the dealer for the cam install(I had the cams and hotcam shim kit already)..they charged me for 6 Hours of labor..installed the engine myself and tuned it myself with my HD supertuner

Hey thunder, got another question for ya if you don't mind me asking and giving me an answer. I appreciate your info.. I have been doing some more research on the forums and was reading and one person was saying to use the stock stacks and not the stacks that come with the kit, apparently you can lose torque with using the stacks that came with the kit, did you use the ones that came with the kit? And also to if u don't mind me asking what we're your gains in horsepower and torque after cam install.. thanks again for the info, sorry about all the questions

I have a motohooligan air box with wider and equal stacks and have plenty of torque in low rpm..I have a 30T pulley and with my girlfriend on the back I can ride in 5th gear on 3000 rpm, twist the throttle and accelerate without lugging the engine..all you need is a good tune, but it depends on the exhaust you have, with my akrapovic I have a lot of back pressure.

I don't know how my HP numbers because I tuned her myself,if I get the opportunity to do a dyno pull I would be happy to tel you..
but seat of the pants it's a big difference..I ride a lot 2 up and on twisty back roads,I don't have to downshift so often..just stick with the stock throttle body and order the holymoto TB shafts, they wont break and you don't want to have a tiny screw get sucked in to the engine

@thunderdemon - would you happen to have a link for the Holymoto throttle body shafts? Can't seem to find them online... and the ones I'm seeing look funny!
TIA !
