I'm 5' 8.33333334"... and I'd be interested in mid-controls... but, at the right price.

Pricing it right so people can afford it, will give you numbers - simple economics.

--------- start of rant ------------ (hopefully this won't apply here)
What gets me is that whilst some people have awesome & original ideas, they get disillusioned and price it out of everybody's pockets.

$1000 for the original kit was certainly ridiculous. IMO even half that is silly money.
I'm all for the designer/manufacturer to make money, but that much money becomes sickening. If it were for show purposes... I get it. Sure, hike it all the way up so it becomes a niche product. But, if it is designed to be utilitarian, then surely pricing it so more people buy it must be a primary thought?
--------- end of rant ------------

People often forget the time and money spent on R&D as well as costs to produce an actual product that is going to sell in low quantity.

Low quantity = no reasonable way to buy in bulk and save money. SOMETIMES prices seem outrageous but you have to factor in the market it is being produced for.

I understand both sides of it.. but I agree that I don't think it'll sell at anywhere close to the original pricing.

My 2 cents
Duals sets would be cool - i've seen them.
vrods w/mids (r & d's) are kind of rare.
My 06 D has mids. Modded rear brake pedal-bent down, lowered

* I'd spend real money on a good bolt right on kit for just a forward shifter.

Mark me as interested. Will be watching closely.
I think $500 or under, and you could sell a bunch.
As long as they looked right, and fit correctly. Vrscf owner here.

Yes and no. I have two major projects to wrap up before getting back to this. Really want to get a 3d printer in house to speed up development on these type of projects. Winter is the busy season for my ideas...I need to duplicate myself.
