Security System

I just installed on my 03 VRSCA a Harley Security System Siren II along with Rechargeable Remote Pager II with no problems with either one, just followed the directions and took my time. The lights all flash like the book say. However, I don't get a chirp when I set the alarm. Anyone else have this problem? Did I miss something?

FOB Battery Strength

FYI...

I wasn't able to start my 08 VROD. In my opinion, 2.84v and 2.76v should still be enough voltage. However the HD alarm system disagreed. New CR2032 3v batteries are actually 3.25v fresh out of the package. Once I swapped batteries I was able to disarm the alarm.

This is great for the pre-'07 bikes with the button on the fob... I have an '07 without the button to push. Does anyone have the card for that one, for setting / changing the code?

Thanks!

Yep - hang on. I'll go get it and scan it in.

Here ya go:

I also have the entire Security System section out of the manual in a Zip file. PM an e-mail addy if you want it; it's 10.7MB.

Thank you MJW930

13 Years latter and this was just what I was looking for my Early Security System!

The 2006 Street Rod I bought used came with a TSSF factory alarm. I bought a used FOB and married it to the Alarm, and reset the PIN to one I can remember.

Now I feel better I can use my PIN to disarm the security system if the FOB craps out or I loose it.

P.S. No I didn't steal the bike and I have the registration to prove it! LOL

Got my pin burned into memory. Dealer set it and wrote it on the card with owners manual. Have never needed it but I'm ready should the day come.
