Daniii - The Abomination<tm> is looking as good as ever.

As far as mine, finally cobbled a USB power port and adjusted the Ram mount so I could actually see my phone in the new case I got this winter. Test ride to lunch and a few other places proved feasibility.

Today:
Modified a Bar Mount to Hold the PowerVision unit.
Went for Sporty ass ride.
Worked on setting up Gauges ( speedo so far) on the PV Display.
Much learning to do on that. Auto-Tune -Decel Pop etc

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

For the record, this Spring:
- Added Bullet Style LED lights up front on Crash Bars - Black w/Blue Stripe that matches the Cobalt Blue Tins - looks stock - lucky find.

- Modded a 2nd Rear Brake Pedal to make it Lower (Mid-Controls) ) - MUCH Better!

-Did Vmod1 on a 2nd set of stock Mufflers - Went Topless and Loaded Screaming Eagle
Generic Tune via PowerVision - Real good Butt-Dyno Results on that!

- Installed Oberon Levers- Damn Excellent

- Bled and Filled Clutch and Rear Brake. - BelRay Dot4

- Flushed and Filled Coolant - Peak Global Lifetime with Water-Wetter Additive.
(Hot weather Insurance)
**************************************************

To do:
Swap in a 2nd Lower Airbox that I cut away for going "bottomless"
Mount IAT in Air Filter Cover.
Clean Front Brakes and install new pads

Ride!

06 D Stage 1 14k

Yup, 650 Vulcan S. Seems like a nice bike, but I haven't ridden it yet.

I'm told it would be a driver's race between my wife's Street 750 and the Vulcan 650 S. He's still breaking it in, so we'll see in another week or so.

Took the bike in for the 100,000 mile service. They had to do some research to find out exactly what was involved. Both tires, HD syn oil change, check all fluids, etc.

All set for Sturgis. Will be at the black Hills State Univ dorm in Spearfish Aug 1-5, look for us in the parking lot mornings till we decide where to ride.

It has been the experience of most members here that once the valves are adjusted after about 20k miles, they never need it again. That has been my experience as well. And while I understand HDSyn is actually a blend, I've never had to add oil, ever. between changes, which I do when changing the rear tire. I've never had a rear last much more than 5000 miles (Dunlop).
