2012 Harley-Davidson 10th Anniversary Edition V-Rod Review |
|
Aug 29, 2011 - 2:58 PM - by Half-Pint

I distinctly recall the first time I saw Harley-Davidson's V-Rod. With its long, low and slender profile, slivery paint from tip to tail and an eye-catching aluminum solid front wheel it was hard to miss, even in a crowded parking lot.
It seems like only a couple years ago I first gazed upon this Harley, but folks, the reality is that 10 years have passed since the tradition-busting V-Rod first rolled into the Harley lineup. Ten years! To mark the 'Rod's notable birthday Harley has created a 10th Anniversary Edition V-Rod as part of the company's... [Read More]

2012 Harley-Davidson Models Updates |
|
Aug 12, 2011 - 3:04 PM - by Half-Pint

Motorcycle manufacturers continue to play it safe in the face of a still-strained economy, and perhaps there's no surer sign of this than the limited number of wholly new motorbikes the major brands are rolling out for the 2012 model year.
Victory recently announced a couple new-ish models (Cross Country Tour and Cross Roads Classic LE), but in essence these new bikes are more or less iterations of existing bikes. The High-Ball, announced in January 2011, was issued as an early-release 2012 model and is perhaps the most-new model from Victory. ... [Read More]

Motorcycle Safety Primer |

Motorcycling has always been about fun and without a doubt it can be a blast, but it’s not a video game, or a trip to an over-safety-engineered amusement park.
Like a lot of higher-stakes adrenaline rushes, riding is a measured gambit, and one to always maintain a healthy respect for. But most people know this already, so what is there to talk about right? Wrong.
Even the best riders crash. Sometimes it is their fault. Sometimes not. Does it really matter if you or someone you care about goes down and gets hurt? Sure it... [Read More]

The MoCo will again be sponsoring a Meet - N -Greet across from the HD store on Beach street, at the "usual time" (8-9AM, Thursday, March 10). Coffee and doughnuts. Let's see how many bikes we can get there to show the flag. Almost 70 showed up last year!
