Yes. Everyone is different. Find what fits you. I have 3 bikes, all have Corbin saddles. It needs to fit you . Proper fit is critical! Joe

Do you have to use a Corbin blackest with their seats?

I assume you mean "backrest".

If so, if you want to use a backrest on a Corbin seat you need the Corbin backrest. The square bar attachment is unique to their saddles.

I have the Corbin Dual Tour saddles on my '02 VRSCA but don't use (or need) the backrests. The Dual Tour rider saddle has a fairly tall built-in backrest and my bike has a trunk mounted behind the passenger pad with a backrest attached. When the trunk is removed I attach a backrest to the passenger pad.

The one thing I don't like are the Corbin rain covers. The design is strange at best. If you have a back rest attached the rain cover can't be used without first removing the backrest.

Corbin can mold the saddle from your butt cheeks.

If you buy a used one forget about any sort of customer service from Corbin.
Truly the worlds worst company.

Actually, I've had great experiences with corbin of Hollister, CA. The manager gave me a set of free keys to a used smuggler tail. But then again, I was local. Drop in and take a tour.

I've had Corbin on more than a dozen motorcycles and their comfort far surpasses most stock saddles.

That said, I prefer the Harley Sundowner/Touring combo that I had on my DX ... very comfy, more so than the Corbin that I currently have on my R.

It's a bit of a long way.
I bought a used one for my K1200R and realised I needed a special bracket to secure the riders section of the seat.
Corbin flat out refused to sell me one as I wasn't the original purchaser , even though they knew the seat was useless to me without it and they had them in stock. Having asked around it seems I was lucky they even deigned to speak to me once they knew I wasn't the OP , so my experience was one of many.
Needless to say they won't get any further business from me.Not that they give a shit

If it doesn't fit you then it will make you fit it because the foam is too firm to conform.

I agree with u stevel

I tried to line up a Corbin seat last March prior to my trip to Daytona Beach..they are the worst coy I have ever dealt with. They would not return my e-mails or correspond in any fashion. I was prepared to pay a deposit or all up front and collect the seat in Daytona Beach..even uxlamf spent many hours trying to contact them on my behalf with little success.

I finally bought an Harley custom seat from for less money and carried it home with me.

I realise other members may have had a different experience, but mine was bad all the way.

Does anyone have a pic of the Corbin Holywood seat on their bike?
I've seen the pics on the Corbin website but I wanted see one in real life.
Is the Holywood seat comfortable - for the rider and the passenger?

Nothing but bad customer service for me too and I did go into the Hollister location. Every Corbin seat I have had has been sold. In my opinion they are way too hard. I had a Corbin on my first V for one 1500 miles then sold it. My first Road King had one when I bought it and after 2500 uncomfortable miles it too was sold. My current RK had one that lasted 100 miles before I removed it and have yet to come across someone willing to buy it. I guess the word is getting out!
