Quick front pulley cover mod

I had a bunch of left over mesh from the grill guards I made for the wife's F, so this morning while cleaning the bikes I had a creative notion.

Pulled the front pulley cover off and unscrewed the three screws inside the cover and removed that horrible disk that has Harley Davidson written on it visible from the outside. Looked cheap. I used the disk as a template and cut a round section out of the mesh then used the screws to mount it. Here's the results. I kinda dig being able to see in there.

I like the mod. Could be a great visual with contrasting color on the pulley.

I think that would look pretty sweet with the black version, the silver and silver needs a bit of contrast

looks cool. but does she know?

i would love to mod the wifes car. but, i'm not allowed to touch it except to change oil, wiper blades, rotate tires and wash it. i wonder if she knows about the k/n air filter and the loss of her air intake baffle? hmm....

My wife's last bike, it was a Fatboy. She trust my judgment

As good as the Muscle looks, I doubt it will ever stop people in their tracks like her old bike did; she misses that.
