Flashing abs light before moving?

Hey everyone,

I got to test ride an AW yesterday with ABS. Before starting the bike the abs light was on which I felt was normal. However after starting it and before moving it was flashing. I tried releasing the brakes and pumping them. I did this with both brakes. Once we got riding the light went out and I never noticed it coming back.

Is this normal? How long does the ABS light usually stay on once started? Do you have to be moving to get it to go out? This bike is an 09, used with 730 miles on it and I doubt it will have a warranty. I want to make sure there isn't a problem with it.

Thanks
MH

It stays on at low speed, I'm not sure but I think it was under 10mph.

My 09 came with a 2year unlimited miles standard warranty... I got an extended as well but the first two years were on Harley so it may well be worth checking with Harley against your VIN to make sure cause I bet you do have some warranty left on it.
