Hardtail rear fender modification-complete

This I like, alot, makes all the work that went into it worth it.
I didn't like the over-all look of the long fender so I too out the grinder
and cut it down a notch.
I also installed heavycycles Stage1 taillight. the rear turn signals are duel purpose and have brake lights also.
Ihave finally the rims mounted.
I love the look. now to finish the passenger seat
Thought I would share my work with y'all
Thanks again to all that helped,

I'll say it again. Managing to pull off an air ride slammed look but still having stock ground clearance and having a solo seat but also being able to ride a passenger with a bolt on pillion is brilliant.

Very good job. The most creative, inventive and still practicle V-Rod on the forum.

I really like it, especially with the new fender cut.

PS: The bars, guages and controls are pretty sweet too.

The craftsmanship appears to be flawless, very nice work. I appreciate one-offs, I know what it takes.

Very nice! I'm lovin' the way rubber hugs fender without air ride.Magnificent!
The MOCO will probably copy that design and call it the first liquid cooled V-Rocker.

Nice looking fender, I would have tossed the brake light and license plate and put a brake light on the panel on the back of the seat!

Sidemount would clean that fender up and show it off!

Just say'n

Rally looks nice. I like the way the flame paint turned out on the hardtail as well. Really original.

But I, too, need more pics and details.

It might get smashed up there as the fender now moves with the swing-arm. Never liked side mount - always looks like it was placed there from of lack of a better idea.

With that billboard sized euro tag i think it is in the best possible location. Not to mention that from what i have read the po po in Europe are very strict as to tag location.

I may be partial to my DX (who isn't in love with their particular model?), but yours is one of the slickest, the cleanest, just all around most beautiful bike I've seen yet.
Every mod seems to compliment another, it just looks purposeful in every view.

Hats off....
