Stage 2 Kit

How many people out there are running this?? Does it get the 20HP claimed at the rear wheel?? What are your thoughts on this kit??

I am just curious as to what my options are.

Well I have mine at the tuner now. I will post the numbers when I get it back. I have stage 2, with indy pipe, and the 26 tooth pulley. I know it already pulls a lot harder, at least I think so.

The kit 30076-09 comes with 2 intake and 2 exhaust cams, a Screamin Eagle air filter and shorter stacks(only use these for paperweights) and gaskets for the cam covers. List price in the states is 499.95, you can get them online for 399.00.
The kit does NOT come with the larger shims you'll need to get the lash set correctly.

Yes I have a Dyno sheet for before, when I had the indy, with a powercommander, and a k/n filter

Now I have the stage 2 kit, topless, mastertuner, and still the indy. I also have the 26 pulley now. The bike is still at the tuner, he is out of town I found out today. He says it will be done this weekend. I will post both sheets when I get them.

Before I had 119.5 hp, and I think about 81 tq. That is off the top of my head I don't have the sheet in front of me right now.

I think the 20 hp increase is for the 1130 cc motors, not the 1250's. I could be wrong...

The guys with the 1130 motors are buying 1250 heads and the cam kit, leaving the bottom end alone and getting 20+ more hp. Not sure on the 1250 motors but I would bet at least 10 more ponies

I believe you might be wrong. The 20 hp+ numbers are for the 1250stock motors. I haven't dyno mine yet......been having some issuses with the Tmax, either by it, or by me. Will eventually get done. Look at the guys here that have done this and their HP numbers.

I was told 6-8 hrs of labor to install the stage II cams.

If it gains 20HP, it would definitely be a worthy investment, for the cost of the kit, and time involved.
