Other than Scott's racer and that umm "interesting" concept one that popped up a while ago I had not seen a V-Rod with a sidecar kit. I happened upon http://www.trans-moto.com/ today and they show pics of two of their sidecars (the 600 and the 300) on V-Rods. No, it's not a V-Rod specific designed sidecar but it would probably give good bones to customize. While this is definitely not everyones cup of tea, different strokes, for different folks.

We have one in our area, that looks like the black one. The owners they sunk it halfway into the ground, and turned it into a planter in their front yard!

I too am curious, the bike doesn't lean anymore with a sidecar does it? Do you just have to turn the front wheel in the direction you want to go? It seems as if it would feel very weird.

YOu have two kinds of attache the one fix and the one with swivel
so you can lean like a regular bike but they hook up the bike about 12 in. further so you have space to lean; the one we have is fix the wife did not want to get the swivel one and the frame is low profile to the ground, it feel like a snowmobile or a small 4x4 , with the fix side car when you turn left it stay's strait but when you turn fast on the right the side car will lift up in the air, only if you turn fast

here is a picture of me and the kids on my old bike witch is now my wife bike she drive it now; she like it a lot.

Very cool to drive people give as much attention to her bike then my bike and sometime more

Side cars with 1950's designing going on new modern styled bikes. About as bad as the 1982 looking bags that most people make bagger rods out of here.

Do people have no concept of style? Might as well put fins from a 1959 Cadillac on a 2010 Porsche 911. At least the stupid looking sidecar that biker lawyer guy has has a matching modern style to it.

600 series is UGLY, 300 series is much nicer.

This is another one of those things (like a trike kit) that I would consider if I could no longer hold a bike up - as an ALTERNATIVE to not riding AT ALL...

We meet people everyday we ride who are interested in 3 wheels. Age, injury, fear, the reason does not matter. The desire to ride is strong in many, and a sidecar or trike or Spyder allows them to go for it. Anything that enables more folks to ride is great!
