Oh I agree, Too blindly Assume something is made poorly simply because of where its imported from is ridiculous. My Excellent Motophoria Jacket is Made in Pakistan, Its the Co's Policies and Standards that will dictate the quality behind the name.

We are a very misunderstood breed, my wife my wife just cannot understand why I need 4 jackets and 4 helmets, she keeps telling me I have only one head so why do I need more then one helmet, till I reminded her she has only one body and 2 feet, so why does she have a wardrobe full of dresses and shoes!!

You just don't understand, do you? They were ON SALE!!!
That's the reply I always get..

My first motorcycle jacket, purchased for cheap off eBay, stunk to high heaven. I had to hang it outside for days to air out. Turns out, the leather was "cured" with urine. I gave it to Goodwill.

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with Lux. I just bought this jacket off e-bay for $240. Mark 2 Sportrider CSRX with no patches. It is an amazing jacket. Now I will look just like Lux... or Lux wants to look just like me. Its a great jacket. But mine has no armour. What armour do you think is best? CE or GP hard armour?

Just a quick update. The email address that I originally used (and have provided to others here on request per the vendor) has gone dead. If you want the non-traditional jacket, suggest you go to the ebay UK and try this link:

Hey everyone,

This email address has disappeared. If you still are looking, search ebay for V-Rod Jacket and you'll get hits from ebay sites in Pakistan and Indonesia. The shipping is high, but the jacket prices are in line with what I paid.

I love my Vanson jacket .Just not the price .The quality is of the leather and workmanship is excellent .

I found these guys not to far from my place .They make custom jackets and suits .The reviews on another web site is very positive .They use Knox armor for $50 extra .The guy I talked to said he can make custom patterns and colors .I just bought my Vanson so I`m not in the market for a jacket .The exhaust is more important .LOL But I will be getting a copy of the jacket at the top of this thread .
