Here it is came today! Should I get the 5 year extended warranty for 999.00? Also the MSRP is 17,529 that has raised since 2008? Next project is to find the right exhaust sound I like the Jekill and Hyde's sound but 2,300 is kind of expensive for exhaust.

Yeah I am from Battle Creek, MI and since the Hawaii Dealership has exclusive rights I am having my dad pick it up in Kzoo and going to ship it out to Hawaii myself. My dad says he will "test it out for me to make sure everything is ok!" Talked to my older brother on the phone while here in Cyprus and says how does it feel that we will ride your bike first!

Most excellent! I would try and get that in writing - the ABS will be an option on 2009 models, not a separate model, so I'd want to have assurance that the word of mouth would be honored. The order you posted is for a bike without ABS.

EDIT: Wait - maybe not... I read that wrong - it says ABS, but charging nothing...

They are charging you for the ABS and just not listing it. Base price MSRP plus ABS is $17,500.00. Seems the price did not go up as this is what I paid for my 2008 before taxes etc...

wont be surprised if ABS is standard on the 09's. Lets HD say "see, we dont even charge you extra for the ABS" when in fact its just included in a higher MSRP.

Yeah looks like I will save like 1,400 with abs and security system on it. I figure it will more than cover to get it shipped to Hawaii.

Thanks! at the beginning of my Deployment I was looking at an 848 Ducati and decided to go back to Harley. Depending on how the Night Rod rides I might keep my current 04 F4i for 2 different riding styles or give it to my wife for a trainer bike since she seems interested in learning how to ride.

I have ABS on my DX and have already had a couple of occasions to use. Love it!!!

I got my 08 from San Diego and had it shipped over to Hawaii on Pasha they are cheaper than matson and did a great job with zero problems. I work over at Hickam if you want to ride when it comes in give me a shout.
