Well, it sure as hell has nothing in common with the R, other than a recycled name.

It's not a VRSCR, so why post in the R forum? Just how many of these new streetrod threads do we need?

Close, they'll call it the Night Rod .

Then the wailing & gnashing of teeth will really begin.

And this is #1 of the 50 "NEW" models they have announced they are bringing out...49 more to go...what a joke....and yes disappointing. Underpowered, overpriced, ugly...etc., etc.

People, quit your bitchin'

All people do is bitch, bitch bitch. When the D came out, people bitched..."it's not a V-Rod."

When the R came out... bitch, bitch bitch. "it's not a V-Rod."

When the F came out... bitch, bitch bitch. "it's not a V-Rod."

When the Street came out... bitch, bitch bitch. "it's not a V-Rod."

I predicted when the Street came out, it eventually will become a variant of the non-selling V-Rod. Eventually, I predict, a 1000+cc Street will come out to replace the V. It may not have the standard horsepower of the engine we have, but that will quickly be solved by the aftermarket.

It'll have that 6 speed transmission that V-Rodders have whined about since 2003.

Soon, someone will have a modded one, and the next thing you know, everyone will love it.

Stop it.

It will be a cold day in Hades before I ever own a "Street" model, 1000+cc or not. Although I agree the Motor Co. will likely produce one in that size as a replacement for the XL line.

HD build just enough into everything to keep the momentum up.
Never anything groundbreaking or inventive.
Quality is for joe average light to medium use.
They play catchup to just stay relative enough to appear motivated.
They back up with marketing to the wannabe's and addicted.
When the going gets tough they cut whatever costs two cents more than it could.
New bikes are a shuffle of paint , parts, names, etc.
Fake news, fake bikes, fake suntans, they are relevant for the year at least.
