The REVO likes to Rev-o ( and split eardrums ) !

V&Hines says that is a serviceable stock baffle so I can only imagine you can add or replace the muffler packing around the core baffle itself and stuff it back in there, then re-install the quiet baffle. My Bub 7 2-1 pipe core came with no packing around the baffle, I used stainless steel screen first, stainless wool second and wrapped that with fiberglass packing. I'm not sure how much backpressure it provides but to me the rattle and unnecessary noise reduction allow you to use higher RPM more easily with no ear splitting that tends to make you short shift it, and not get in the power. The Revo likes to rev-o ! I put an 1/4 inch outlet diameter reducer on my pipe to provide additional backpressure, but you will get that from your quiet baffle, and your cruise sound will be really bearable.

velocity stacks can make a huge difference in power..the length and taper are important as well as the entry...the entry can be extremely important...try to straighten the air flow into the stack entrance...i have seen more than 5hp with modifications there...i won`t give specifics just know that there is hp to be found and chase it

I called veerlands to talk about my questions and the person i talked to really wouldnt answer me just said bring it and we will put it on the dyno, wouldnt even say if i should bring the old stacks
When you talk to Vreelands you are at the right spot for the best maps you can get.

stag 2 cams came with the short stacks, Harley did that for a reason, use them.
Ray will tune your bike better then anyone in the usa.
They have been racing vrods for years and know every trick in the book. I have had my parts and bike there.

The Vreelands, Rich and Ray are great peoples. You will not be disappointed.

Both questions answered. Read up and read a lot and you will learn a lot.

Ray at veerlands tuned my bike, andit now runs noticeably better at every rpm.
