Yeah, I just took it out for a drive, it shifted great, and once the oil warmed up, it was perfectly at the full mark! Think I'm good to go! Another successful shifter shaft replacement thanks out to this 1130cc board!

Or it was too full to begin with. I only had a small amount leak out when I did mine.

So now I'm fighting with an oil seal leak after installing TWO replacement seals? Any ideas why this bitch keeps leaking? Yes, I installed the seal only once it was cleaned out, the shaft is new, and I had the flat part of the seal facing out. WTF? TIA...

Mesure your new shaft and your old shaft diameter. Might be different thickness for some reason. Same for the seal.

The old broken shaft went into the trash, guess I'd assume the new shaft from harley davidson would have the right diameter?

You just never know, they do have crappy shift shafts that break, i wouldnt put it past them to have a different diameter shaft or seal

This is my first time posting here .

Just broke the shifter shaft on my 2013 NRS ?
And tricks and tips i need to know with this model , bike is in 1st gear and there is enough shaft sticking out to possible put into nutral? I read this whole thread and I'm keen as to do the job my self .
