As the season winds down, of course. My 26 tooth pulley from Fitzgerald Motorsports finally showed. Looks like I have a winter project for the vrod after all. I thought I was just gonna be working on my chopper.
Update: Good mother gods of all that is holy is that fast! I was not prepared for how much quicker that pulley would make it. The bike literally "jumps" forward with a throttle twist, and it now breaks the rear free in second gear, too. RPMs are obviously higher on the highway so I'll be eating up a lot more gas, but I doubt I'll go back to that 28.
The only number I really know is at 70mph and I flew by that so fast I didn't take note. Might be 300-400 RPM but just a guess. Only 40F outside so I'm in the hot tub.
Good to read you are enjoying it! Dropping 2 teeth is HUGE. Best bang for the buck hands down. Thanks for being patient.
