Also we had some sun today got up in the 30's so I took the seat on its maiden voyage. And I must say it is fantastic, I was only out for about an hour (hands started to go numb, even with the custom jug warmer mod [holding your left hand on the head/jug of the engine] haha). I didn't know how bad that stock seat sucked but I do now! Oh BTW anyone want a stock 06 nightrod seat and pillion (pay no mind to that last comment)? I love how planted you feel in it like a race recaro for a bike, and super comfy to boot. Cant wait for some warm weather so I can get it out on a long trip.
I've got a well used Sundowner in my parts bin. I wore the sucker out. If I wanted to, I guess I could repack the seat (I can feel the base when I ride it). I replaced it with a Corbin. Probably never wear that hard sob out, but it has a backrest, which is what I wanted. I use an AirHawk when traveling, so the seat is no longer an issue.

I did find a solution for the passenger pillon.

Well that is one way to shut her up huh? haha, I don't think I would be willing to add that much more weight to mine at this time. What pillion is that though? If she doesn't like this one I'm just gonna have it sent out and modded by someone.

It's a stock pillon shell with a Sportster Sundowner front greatly modded and stapled to the base.
