Got my sundowner in the mail today, so I threw it on tonight
Hoooooly crap was I missing out, its like a cradle for your ass. I got it to try and make the old lady more cozy but I love this thing, she on the other hand is not impressed with her seating area she doesn't like how it curves up. ugh guess I gotta go custom. But we never took it out yet (20* temps is a bit too much for me). I don't know why people think it looks too big, I think it looks perfect. But I do have a bit of a bagger style going so that's probably why it works well on mine.

I would take her on a long ride before you pursue the custom pillion. That pillion is about as comfortable as they come for the passengers. My girl loves it and finds it extremely comfortable.

Where did you get it online? Did you save any $ over just getting it at the dealer? I'm thinking about getting one. I have a Mustang seat on my other bike and every time I ride it I remember how nice it is to have a good seat.

Finished replacing the left side radiator hose assembly and went for a 35 mile test ride. I wasn't feeling very confident about that shrink clamp business, but no leaks so far...
If you haven't tossed your "p-clamp" yet, I recommend checking it and/or chucking it asap! It can create an unnecessary and expensive repair.

Got it on ebay, new never used for 222 shipped. Couldn't pass it up. I think there are a few left on there, they always pop up but not too often never used and for that price.

Also we had some sun today got up in the 30's so I took the seat on its maiden voyage. And I must say it is fantastic, I was only out for about an hour (hands started to go numb, even with the custom jug warmer mod [holding your left hand on the head/jug of the engine] haha). I didn't know how bad that stock seat sucked but I do now! Oh BTW anyone want a stock 06 nightrod seat and pillion (pay no mind to that last comment)? I love how planted you feel in it like a race recaro for a bike, and super comfy to boot. Cant wait for some warm weather so I can get it out on a long trip.
