I bought a Gates PolyChain 160 tooth belt on Ebay. It is the same construction as the 150 tooth stock unit. I needed to take about .10 off to make the standard Gates fit our pulleys & match the OEM width. I called a half dozen shops locally. No one wanted to/could narrow it. Finally a guy told me they simply used a belt sander with about 150 grit & sanded the belt ( clamped together to get the correct width ). You'll need to trim out flash between the teeth but it works great. My R has 2 1/2 inch stretch swing arm & turbo. The belt is stronger, quieter, lighter & cleaner than a chain.

Trimming drive belt down

Bump, any updates? Ran into issues with mine today. Need the belt an inch longer and narrower.
