Just as I was leaving work, I was informed that it was over 50degrees outside. Very unusual for western ny this late in the year. I had a huge smile the whole way home and as soon as I pulled up, I tore the cover off my bike and started her up. Not a long ride as my wife and baby were waiting to eat dinner but there was no way I was missing that chance.

I installed Progressive 440 rear shocks; and Kuryakyn ISO pegs, toe shifter, grips and throttle boss. Oh, and I cleaned the wheels, swapped out the seat, removed the saddlebags to get to the shocks, and relocated the license plate. There was also a glass of scotch and a couple beers to be had, and all did not occur necessarily in the order described above. It was a good night with the bike considering I never left the house and no riding was involved.
Well, so are the grips and pegs. They kind of balance each other out from front to rear, actually. I'd rather PC than rattle can. And I did the shocks more for ride then looks. I'll have to get some decent pics of the whole bike like it is now. There's probably at least five different kinds of black on my bike anyway. And the frame is gloss, so...
I thought about sending the metal parts of the grips and pegs to PC first but the shocks would be a lot more of a PITA to do. They were second hand anyway, so why waste a bunch of extra $$ for now? I'm gonna live with it for a while like it is and see where it goes from here. What I eventually do with the swingarm and triple trees may dictate how I address the grips, pegs and shocks... but that may be awhile. You know. You still have your exhaust to do. We're never done, are we?
I'm learning that too. ;-) I got front turn signal locators today so I don't dent the new air box cover coming today. I bought a new set of tins in Demon blue flames, all 8 pieces. I need to figure out how and if I'll use the headlight cowling on my bike. I can't wait till they get here. I'm going to have to play hookie from work this afternoon.
