Hogpatch - Isn't that where Lil Abner and Daisy Mae reside?

I am still sticking with LUX-HOG for those who own an anodized 2002-2003 VRSC and think all of the rest of the line sucks. Well the NightRod Special is OK, but it is painted and it was not made in 2002 or 2003 thus it is not as good, so it sort of sucks.

The GLCoP just opened an Anne Hathaway annex. Now if I could only find an uncensored photo, lol.

Easy Ken, you misunderstood. The other Revo powered HD's are just not "REAL" V-Rods. They are imposters, only the 2002 is a real one. OK?

I think I would like a touring bike one day when I'm a bit older but beyond that nope, wouldn't want any other harley than my vsrcd. I however would love a lighter sport bike some time in the future as I am more into twisties than straights. Maybe a speed tripple or a buell 1125cr (minus that heinous exhaust). I'm not a huge fan of all show no go/all bark no bite that all other stock HD's have...

yes.
I'd get a 07+ streetbob, put SE120R engine on it, tune it and and smoke all stock VRODs

Likewise i would take a wide glide with the 120r. If you have ever hopped off your Vrod and directly onto an aircooled Harley thats basically stock its almost comical. I don't think there is a warranty with the 120r though. Now why would that be?

HD XR 1200X. I think that bike would be a good substitute.

I would, depending on what sort of riding I wanted to do. I love my DX, but I also dream of taking a modern 1200 Sporty and making a pseudo XLCR out of it.

I would

I DID. I'm extremely happy with my '08 NRS, but picked up a low mileage (under 3k) Softail Deuce in September. Doesn't have near the get-up of the Rod, but handles like a dream, and definitely turns some heads.

RETAIL is an entirely different scenario. But I'd rather let someone else take that plunge, and pick up a good used bike, that I can afford to customize to my liking.

I've got 3 Harleys in my garage, and have no regrets.

It's my opinion that the V-Rod is the only decent thing HD has ever made. Iwill not buy any HD product other than the 'Rod. ....(except maybe repair parts). No t-shirts, leathers, or any other after-market doo-dads.
