Then all you'd have left is a forum of " my thighs get hot while I rdie", "what kind of oil, shocks and tires to use", and recipe exchange posts.

Indeed...as well as "my riding friends say I dont have a real Harley" and "backyard redneck turbo build" threads...

Turbo censors incoming PM in 3,2,1....

I think he's trying to sell you his seeing eye dog thinks the R looks better than the Griso.

With these last two you're going to the exact opposite direction than the R or the GREASEow, dont come complaining later that they're heavier, bulkier, cant turn without scraping and that you got beaten by the guy you sold your R to....

Griso was a sneaky and unsavory character in an Italian novel, "I Promessi Sposi", or "The Betrothed" (litereally I promise to marry) In English.

Don't try to understand how the Guidos think. It is not a rational country.

To pass the DoT noise test you will find many manufacturers lean the mixture out between three and four grand because that is roughly the rpm most bikes will run at during the noise test. This flat spot can almost always be tuned out with a flash to the ECU, or at worst a custom EPROM. My old room mate, who's day job is a program manager at General Atomics developing things like semiconducting homopolar DC motors for Naval applications or the electromagnetic catapult for the Gerald Ford class aircraf carriers, has a nice side business doing exactly this for Moto Guzzis and his EPROM is well regarded among Guzzi enthusiasts.

Ever ride a Guzzi Le Mans in the canyons? Do that and you will answer your own question. Sexy, great sounding and fast doesn't begin to cover it. Oh, did I say great sounding? And that engine configuration gives you damn near unlimited cornering clearance.
