Heads Up - Kosman Marchesini Wheel Kit

For those that bought the Kosman Marchesini wheel kit back about 2008, (there were 25 kits sold?), keep an eye on your rubber blocks in the cush drive bowl. Mine were about half gone and had crumbled into very small pieces, sort of like a severe dry rot. I found some at OPP Racing, www.oppracing.com, up in Washington for $12.50 per set and it takes 5 sets. There were other suppliers that carried them, some were out of stock or more expensive so I went went these and they fit very well. You can test the cush drive by putting the bike in neutral and rotating the rear pulley and note how much play there is between the outside and inside of the cush drive. Mine, with the new ones in has zero play but had a bunch with the bad ones in there.

Mike

I too noticed this. My cushions are in tact but I can rotate the pulley back and forth while mounted. Thank you sooooo much for posting this. Looks like I need 10 of them.

They come in pairs, so you only need 5 pair.

Same thing with stock V-Rod rubber isolators.
