Foot control reach the same. Hand controls - nothing has less reach than the AW I don't think, so it will be the same or (for you) better. Changing the bars is a hassle though.
1250/1130 no difference. 1250 about makes up for the power the back tyre loses.
On the back tyre, I don't want to seem smug or horrible here, but it seems you Americans get to ride without being forced to do the forty hours training that is normal in most of Europe - but if you understand that bikes steer by your pushing of the inside bar and everything else is an illusion, you will have no trouble. The fat tyre means the bar need continuous gentle pressure to keep the pegs scraping throughout the bend.
