I like it, in my bike I have installed carbon fiber front fender, side covers and airbox and I've got the original front fender, side covers and airbox and I've got anodized front fender, side covers and airbox, three parts easily to remove and install, so aesthetically I've got three bikes in one.

Philthy, your right about our european models. My R was registared june 05,makes it built 2005, kinda strange when you didn't get them till 2006. Al. PS Stayed overnight in Ridgecrest in some motel when I was touring in 2010.

VRSCR's were on sale in 2005 in the US same as Europe... They are still classified as 2006 models in the US.... In the US, the new model years typically start around April/May, so anything built after that would be classified as the next model year.. As an example: my old R was built in June 2005, but is classified as a 2006 model, same as yours and every other R built in 2005 through Spring/Summer 2006

That I did during winter, which hopefully ended last week, now is a time for riding, so no mods anymore. Btw. engine guards are the only thing I don't like, they look strange, but after my brother's Dyna felt down and broke his leg I decided to mount them on.

I've installed SuperTrapp exhaust, replaced stock handles with pearl black ones, added license plate frame, installed corbin seat, got Avons 200 Rear and got it Tyno Tuned. This winter i will replace rear brake switch, install new banjo bolt, would like to add adjustable front pegs for cruising and perhaps head light cover.

That's it! The bike is "smokin" as it is, I don't want to add too much more.. even the old lady love it!

Ramzes666, very nice colours, you can paint the side cover grilles to complete the bike color.
