At PRI last week I spoke with the representative from Hoosier Racing about the Dunlap - Goodyear issue of tire availability. They said if we can create enough interest and demand Hoosier Racing may produce the equivalent tire for us. The contact at Hoosier Racing is Faron Lubbers and he is in charge of drag motorcycle tires, his contact number is (574)784-3152. As a group we need to start calling and specify the 25.0 x 7.0 x 18D in the D6 compound.
I'm in! I will also spread the word at other forums. I'll ask for an email address for this request from Hoosier also, hope he gets swamped with calls and orders! I would also hope for an exact size replacement to the Dunlop.

I'm new to the Destroyer, but what is wrong with the M/T ?? the destroyer I just bought has a M/T on it now and I have been running a M/T on all my other dragbikes for a long time. I'm going to stay with the M/T and would not put a goodyear on my pit bike..
#3 PMFR DESTROYER- The last one
Several Destroyers have gone down due to problems with the Mickeys slipping on the rim. Mine included. Additionally, the diameter is different, requiring different gearing. Some of this may be personal preference and lack of familiarity with the Mickey. If you search the forum you'll find plenty of discussion on the issue.
I have a new Mickey I'm happy to send you. Brand new, make me an offer.
