Dan Moto Exhaust for VRSCR

Not sure what to think. Several Dan moto 2 into 1 exhausts on ebay and other websites. Looks like a V&H 2 into 1 for only $300!!!!

I cant find a review on it. Has anyone heard of this????

Just from the photos I would say you are going to drag it hard on corners. Also, the bolt pattern on the lower mounting bracket is different between the R and the D/DX.

Huum I got this on my mind aswell, seems like other users are really happy with this exhaust.. But Iīve emailed danmoto without reply so far if it will fit the R. However.. the V&H comp fits all incl the R so why should this.. And for a third of the price..

Fu-k it, I just order a set of matt black for my R. Iīll get back with pictures asf when I get it fitted.

BTW, according to site, the 2007-2012 fits on the R with small modifications.. guessing they have just copied the mount from the V&H which has the same issue.

I saw on the tread that you have the Dan moto exhaust, and I just wonder how you remoddle the lower mount? if you have the StreetRod.. Danmoto told me I had to construct my own mount bracket and I thought I might get started before I get the delivery so any pictures you have would be much appreciated =)

Dan Moto Exhaust for VRSCR

I have a DanMoto Highwayman on my NightRod, sounds awesome, but easy to scrape. Took a bit of wiggling to get it fit but eventually got it. I'm very happy with it, although considering how I could baffle it a little more, it LOUD (but I'm not sure how loud compares to say a V&H)...

I love mine =) Itīs loud.. real loud.. Itīs louder than my Samson Caliber 2-2 exhaust and has a lot more bass sound to it. Seems to have a lot more power on top also then before (a bit lower in 1-4k, about the same 4-6k a lot more 6-9k)

Some pitures from my installation.

Overall, pritty easy and Im no wiz with the tools... about 1,5 hour work (getting the rings of the exhaust was the most time spent.. get better tools than I had

https://plus.google.com/photos/10451...IzfkJDfsYyz3wE

Map seems to work fine with my old open exhaustmap (PC3 and Samson Caliber 2-2 system)

Danmoto on the R

Has anyone installed a DanMoto exhaust on there "R"?
Danmoto says I need to fabricate a plate that attaches to the frame/mid control mounting points to mount the exhaust. And bend the brake pedal outwards for clearance.
I'm okay with bending the brake pedal, but what modification needs to be done for a mounting bracket?
I am really interested in this exhaust, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Will have Tab Performance slipons for sale cheap if I go with the Danmoto.

Just saw your pics, looks great. What did you have to do for a mounting bracket? Did you bend the brake pedal?
Thanks.
