Bassani Road Rage

Does anyone have any sort of comparative information between the Bassani road rage two into one and the Vance and Hines competition two into one. I know the VandH will weigh consederably less. The shipping weight on the road rage is about sixteen pounds and the VanH weights less than seven. I am trying to find an alternative to the dragging of the VanH. Any suggestions appreciated. Good luck to everyone and have a good racing season.

I've had the long Bassani 2-1 Road Rage, and it'll drag as bad if not worse than the V&H comp. They make a shorter version of the Bassani now that should be better than both mentioned above. Power wise the V&H will make more power at WOT where as the Bassani being longer will make better low/midrange power(which is where we spend most of our time). Another one that's a great all around pipe is the D&D 2-1 Fatcat. It's one of the best power wise and has some of the best ground clearance of any Vrod pipe out there. Hope some of that helps.---------Ken

Blubyubusa!

I am doing the same research as you are doing. I started another thread about it. You can look it up, it might help even tho i did not find my answer yet. It's called "Dragging BUB 7 (2-1)".

road rage two B1

A little loud but a very good exhaust. You can cut down the tone by installing an inside baffle to the Bassani baffle. The baffle set up is about the same as a Tab exhaust.

I went from the V&H to the Bassani and I feel it's a better streetable pipe in it's power ranges, better mid range power

With the bassani you do not have to heat wrap it correct? Thats only thing i do not like about the vh is i would have to wrap it in order to not burn my leg off
