2012 New to me V-Rod

Picked up my anniversary model V today. What a differance from the Roadglide I traded!! A great ride home, even though it was a little cool here in W. Ky. Looking forward to learning alot from the forum. Ride safe.

Welcome aboard. Road Glide traded! Wow!

Now I know I'm not the only one who traded a FLH for a V Rod.
I had a 2010 Road King that I traded my VRod for 18 months later
I traded the Road King back in on my same VRod - Always loved the V and missed it from the day I traded it.

I think that you will find the V to - be very comfy much more so than I was led to believe. The more you ride it the more you'll get used to it.

Congrats! Smart Move.

Thanks to everybody for the kind words! Tough decision, not really, I'm closer to 70 than 65, and wrestling the glide was getting tougher every time. I'm pretty impressed with the power, and have not been past 4000rpm yet. Old guy's can go ( sorta) fast too!!!

"new to you", so it was a used 2012?

yep, as someone said, above 5k is where all the fun is with the V-Rod...

Like you, I am not a young man anymore(50), and the V-Rod is the perfect compromise of power, handling, and ergonomics for me.
