Mid Controls and V&H

I was wondering if the Vance& Hines 2 into 1 competition series will fit on a D with mid controls. Have looked all over and sent 2emails to V&H and have not been able to find an answer to this question. Sorry if this sounds redundant and thanks for any answers.

Pretty sure they won't work. I thought about mids for my DX but general consensus is I would need new exhaust.

works just fine. I've got it on mine with the mids. be careful installing them though your brake peddle will scratch the pipe up. I actually had better luck installing the headers before attaching the cone. It's tougher to get the cone on all the way and the springs on, but much less scratches.

EDIT* Here is a pic

Off topic but how do you like those EBC floating rotors?

They're nice. I've put 26k on them without issue. Lasted almost 4 times longer than the stock ones did and still going. Stockers ended up warping causing major vibes while using the front break after only about 5k average. went through 3 pairs before getting these.

No problem. You will like it!...on a side note of the Fuel pak. I too have it. But be careful 3 of my friends have it as well and out of all 4 of us all of our bikes ran rich with the standard settings. So just keep an eye out for lots of black soot coming from the exhaust. There should be a very little build up and NONE blowing out on high revs. But the tech support there is very good and each of us gave them a call and explained and within about 15 minutes we had a custom map each and now they all run great. Have fun and enjoy your D! Best V Rod made!

I stand corrected! Thanks for the info, I may have to start looking into the mids again for mine. Sorry for the wrong info OP.
