Air Ride gurus - Any difference between V Rod and Touring Systems??

Hey guys,

So I have been searching around for an air ride system for a while. A few weeks back GR Customs had a demo Platinum system for sale but I missed it.

Anyways, tonight when I was googling systems, the ad still comes up on google, although it is no longer there when you click the link. This is what shows on the Google page:

9 Oct 2012 – I have a slightly used Platinum Air Ride System that is powder coated flat black and will fit on any V Rod and Touring bike. This air ride...

So my question is this, is there any difference between the two or have I been narrowing my search for no reason?

Thanks in advance...

Very good question. I have no answer but would like to know as I have been looking also. Likely depends on how they dampen.

I ran my stock shocks up to 3 and have smoothed out and do not bottom so bad. You bigger guys need to run up to 4 or 5 to get that affect. Saves $1200!
