Finally I got parts for the next modification, 8deg raked "trike" triple trees and a Pingel steering damper.

The parts have to be finished and chromed, so most probably I'm not able to test drive the mod before the next summer. The season starts to be over here.

You were right, a noice meter says 109dB at 4100rpm.

edit: I noticed afterwards that silencer wool has disappeared during the season.

A poor weather biking season is over here, my saldo less than 2000 km Usually I'm doing >5000 km.
We had the last local cruising night yesterday.
I ran out of fuel, but was not so unlycky than another bike guy...

It will be the first winter for a while without an engine rebuilt.
Just a triple tree project is going on. I can find out something else to do than V-Rod.
See you later

I was decided to be happy with the setup I have, but
....when we are making a new flange and plenum....
A high end of GT2560R compressor looks so much better than GT2554R in 1487cc, I just can't live w/o testing it.

This seems to be an endless story.

A pre-work of compressor housing's chroming is the most unpleasant job I know.

Did order, no return:
- GT2560R inconell (to 330hp crank)
- a pile of silicon hoses
- a stack of aluminium tubes and curves
- the flanges will be machined in Dec by member Mukle

The Show Must go on.

Oh my God Karzza. It looks like St. Anger of boost took this round.

Yes. If everything goes well we will machine flanges in 8th Dec. Unfortunately this was first free weekend to us. But this gives us still some time to check and double check flange design so it is suitable for all purposes.

I'm having flashbacks of the carnage when the motor in BadRod II let go.

is the GT2560R a direct bolt on or will you make to make changes for clearance?
