Asheville Harley Davidson

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences? Ive been in a couple times and everyone seems cool. To make a long story short I am needing cams installed on my '10 vrscdx and theyre about 20min away. Should I trust them and take it there or just drive 3hrs to Tilley hd? What would you do?

No. There are plenty of places that have a good rep. I love Asheville, but a couple of years ago, mine was the first vrod they had seen. They might have someone who knows, but, Tilley's knows. If it were a warranty item, cool - they can learn on it. If you are paying for it, experience is worth every penny. There are tons of great shops out that way, from PA to GA. Joe

Sounds like a plan. Looks like i will be ordering the part from Hales though. There about $180 chapter on the cams and tuner together. Tilley won't price match because they said Harley has set cost for parts. I will definitely have them do the install and tune though.

Listen to this man, and for the love of Christ don't trust your bike to anyone that have no experience on V-Rods... You'll regret later every penny you saved and every week or month your bike remains under repair to fix somebody else's fok-up...

Spartanburg HD 2 hrs from Ashville has a mechanic that has a personal destroyer and 2004 vrod. Their entire staff wanted to talk about vrods and i am sure they could handle your cam installation with ease.
